HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
When you shop at GASHANS you state your address, your email, and what you shop for. We hope that you will feel confident in how we handle your personal data and that you will continue shopping with us.
GDPR – YOUR RIGHTS
General Data Protection Regulation is an EU regulation that states how companies within the European Union are allowed to handle personal data.
SUMMARY OF HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We collect as little information as possible about you. We only use the data for order handling and newsletters. If you pay by Credit Card the payment will go through Revolut and is thereby their responsibility in terms of GDPR.
WHY DO WE KEEP YOUR ORDER INFO?
Your payment history is necessary (by law) for us in order to declare tax.
WHAT SOFTWARE SYSTEMS WILL HANDLE YOUR DATA?
When you shop at GASHANS your order is processed through several stages and your data may be necessary for several of them:
WordPress – your webshop solution
Revolut – when paying for your order
Česká pošta (Czech Post) – if we send your order as tracked with Česká pošta.
Zasilkovna – when we send you an order tracked with Zasilkovna
ONEsolution – Hosting, domain och mail handling.
We use a solution called WooCommerce. It is a database where all our products, pages, and text info are kept. When you place an order with us it is processed by WooCommerce. Your order will end up in a database at ONEsolution, which we and the ONEsolution staff have access to. However, although ONEsolution keeps the information they will not access it without our approval or if we ask them to for technical reasons.
Your order information includes data about what products you have purchased, how you paid for them, and your address, but no information about your Credit card, etc.
It is from WooCommerce that you receive emails regarding your order status.
SHARING OF INFORMATION
We never share any info about you except the info which is needed to fulfill our order handling. (As stated above). The only exception is if we should be forced to do so by law.
In accordance with the GDPR regulation you have the right to:
Be “forgotten” and erased from our system.
Ask for a copy of what info we have on you.
Correct any incorrect info.
Rewoke your approval of use of your data.
